This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish text is the one that binds; if the two differ, the Spanish version prevails. Read it in Spanish.
We are a small team and we read everything. Write to the right address and we will answer within five working days; urgent matters sooner.

Questions, suggestions, something that does not work: hola@yalerta.com.
Privacy and your data
Downloading or deleting your data is done on the spot from your account or from the ‘Me’ tab in the app. To rectify, object, restrict a processing operation or any other personal-data matter: privacidad@yalerta.com. We answer within a month at most. You can also complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (the Spanish data protection authority, aepd.es).
Content and reports
- Every alert has a ‘Report content’ link. Choose the reason and, if you wish, leave your e-mail.
- You get a reference immediately.
- Within 72 hours we decide and explain why. You can see it on the page for your reference and, if you left an e-mail, we send it to you.
- If you disagree, you appeal from that same page for six months. We answer within fifteen days.
For anything that does not fit the form: moderacion@yalerta.com. If you believe an alert identifies you or someone close to you, say so and we treat it as a priority.
Authorities
Single point of contact for the authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (article 11 of the Digital Services Act): legal@yalerta.com · Iñigo Escribano Calvo (postal address in the Legal notice). We work in Spanish, Catalan and English. Orders to act against content and requests for information are answered through the same channel.
We acknowledge receipt of every order the same working day. We handle European production and preservation orders (Regulation (EU) 2023/1543) within the deadlines it sets: 10 days as a rule and 8 hours in an emergency. Requests for identification data are handled under article 588 ter m of the Ley de Enjuiciamiento Criminal (Spain’s criminal procedure act); handing over content requires judicial authorisation (article 588 ter j). What we keep, for how long and how we handle a preservation order is in the Privacy policy.
For users (article 12), the point of contact is the same e-mail or the report form on every alert; no automated system is needed to talk to us.
Press and partnerships
Media outlets that want the map on their website (we have a widget), city councils, 112 and civil protection: hola@yalerta.com.
Emergencies
We are not an emergency service and we do not read e-mail in real time. If someone is in danger, call 112. To report a crime, use AlertCops or the nearest police station.
