Yalerta is a live map of incidents, emergencies and disruptions in Madrid, Barcelona, València, Málaga, Alicante, Ceuta and Melilla, available at yalerta.com and in the iPhone and Android apps. It brings together what 112, city councils and other public services publish, and what people who are on the spot report. Every report says where it comes from.

Access is free. To publish, vote or receive alerts you need an account with a verified e-mail address, and to accept the terms of use.

Yalerta does not replace 112, the police or civil protection. Information may arrive late, be incomplete or be wrong, and it is not meant for decisions that put your safety at stake. In an emergency, call 112.

Yalerta’s own design, code and text belong to the owner. Official data is shown with its provenance and under each source’s licence; they are all listed under sources and licences. The base map is OpenFreeMap’s, with OpenStreetMap data (ODbL licence).

Reports published by people are shown with the “Community” label and under the licence described in the terms of use. You may quote or link to any Yalerta page; to reuse the data in bulk, write to us.

Yalerta links to official sources and to AlertCops. We do not control those sites and do not answer for their content; if a link stops being appropriate, let us know and we will remove it.

This notice and the use of Yalerta are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, any claim is settled before the courts of your place of residence.
